Kerri-Ann Appleton
Kerri-Ann Appleton is the Creative & Strategy Director for Kaz Productions, a company that strategically supports nonprofits in engaging individual donors through events. Her love for international relations grew after spending a year in Australia as an exchange student and earning a degree from Alfred University in political science with a focus on international politics. Kerri-Ann has also worked for the international organization Up with People as trainer, Promotion Representative and Tour Manager. She has over 16 years experience in nonprofit fundraising, operations and management. Kerri-Ann enjoys the outdoors and traveling to new parts of the world.

Professional Aspirations: My dream is to become a translator/interpreter.
Greatest accomplishment: My greatest accomplishment would have to be travelling abroad for the very first time. Ever since then, I’ve been struck with an insatiable desire to travel. With enough hard work and determination, maybe I’ll be able see the world.
Leslie Chen
Occupation: Technology Consultant
Words of Wisdom: It is never too late to learn anything.
International Experiences: One of my favorite travel destinations so far has been Istanbul, Turkey. I really loved the mix of natural beauty, diverse culture and interesting history. (Not to mention that the food is amazing.) Here’s a photo of me in India, which is also at the top of the list!
Favorite Hobby on a Saturday Afternoon: Baking.
Diana Choi

Major: Latin American Studies and Hispanic Literatures
International Experiences: Spent a summer teaching English to Latin American immigrants in Barcelona; Studied abroad in Argentina for a semester; Spent a spring break in Guatemala volunteering for a local NGO painting schools and planting a tree-fence at the local nature reserve; Traveled in Peru, India, Brazil, Bolivia, Costa Rica, Cambodia, South Korea, the UK and France in the past several years

Favorite Hobby on a Saturday afternoon: Go on a long walk (weather permitting) and cook a big dinner with/for my family or housemates.

Professional Aspirations: After graduation, I hope to start a career in international development. I’m really interested in being involved in the positive change that people from varying walks of life can make when they work together.
International Experiences: Traveling to visit my mother’s family in Colombia every other summer; a semester studying in Valencia, Spain; and vacations to Mexico, the Dominican Republic, Portugal, France, and Morocco. One of my favorite things about being able to travel abroad is probably having the chance to try so many different types of foods!
