Sponsorship
We have three different levels of financial sponsorship that all create lasting impact.
Become a Host Family
US-Brazil Connect annually hosts outstanding Brazilian high school students from our Conexão Mundo (World Connection) program in the Denver Metro area and at select community college partners. This visit to the United States is a core aspect of our partnership with the Brazilian Confederation of Industry.
Brazilian student delegates stay with host families for their two week visit to further their understanding of day-to-day American life and share Brazilian culture. Host families are supported by a US-Brazil Connect staff member who is available 24 hours daily.
Living with a host family gives students the opportunity to experience a new culture and further develop language and cross-cultural skills that will serve them throughout their lives. In return, the host family benefits from the opportunity to learn more about Brazil. It enriches the lives of their family members and presents the chance to create meaningful new relationships.
Become a Volunteer
US-Brazil Connect utilizes volunteers several times throughout the year. Volunteer opportunities include office administration work, supporting our Brazilian student visits, helping at events and other needs. Become a Fellow
Apply to become a US-Brazil Connect Fellow! This is a 3 phase program where you will be challenged to learn more about yourself, to work effectively on diverse teams and to develop skills for coaching and leadership of Brazilian youth.
Become an Intern
Gain experience in the non-profit professional field, develop skills, and expand your conscious global leadership abilities by becoming an intern at US-Brazil Connect.
